About the Journal

Journal of Religion, Health and Society (JRHS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to exploring the intersection of religion, health, and societal issues. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to contribute original research and critical insights that examine how religious beliefs, practices, and institutions influence individual and community health, as well as broader societal well-being.

JRHS encourages a global and inclusive approach, welcoming perspectives from all religious and spiritual traditions, as well as secular and indigenous viewpoints. The journal is committed to promoting dialogue across disciplines including theology, sociology, public health, psychology, anthropology, ethics, and medical sciences.

Published biannually, JRHS serves as a valuable resource for academics, policy-makers, healthcare professionals, and religious leaders who are engaged in addressing pressing health and social challenges through a faith-based or culturally sensitive lens.
